We are a not for profit, community owned, non government organisation which provides high quality care and education for children, national and state wide inclusion services as part of a National Consortia and operate many community based services to children and families. These include post natal depression groups, transition to school and supported playgroups.

As a Fun Club Director you will be:

  • Working 28 hours per week, Before and After School Care
  • Providing high quality OOSH Services to all children and families of the service
  • Providing support to the team working at the Fun Club
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluation the program
  • Responsible for managing the service budget
  • a Workplace, Health and Safety champion within the service

Selection Criteria:

  • Enthusiasm, energy and ability to engage with kids
  • Diploma of Children’s Services (Outside of School Hours) or related qualification desirable
  • Meet all requirements for a Nominated Supervisor
  • Evidence of commitment to an inclusive curriculum
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership and management
  • Outstanding skills in communication with families and the community
  • Sound understanding of programming and curriculum planning for children 5-12 years including children with special needs
  • Demonstrated commitment to work health and safety and the National Quality Framework
  • A current National Criminal Record Check and valid paid Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Identify and Respond to Children at Risk Certificate

As a Fun Club Educator you will be:

  • Working 25.75 hours per week, Before and After School Care
  • Providing for the care, education and well being of each child at the service
  • Working in partnership with families and staff
  • Assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of the program
  • Supporting the Director in the day-to-day operations of the service

Selection Criteria:

  • Certificate IV (OSHC), Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or relevant tertiary studies is desirable
  • Certified Supervisor or ability to meet requirements of Certified Supervisor
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with children and families
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a team environment
  • A good level of physical fitness
  • Capacity to contribute actively to the efficient and effective operation/development of a high quality outside school hours care service
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, an inclusive curriculum, child protection and the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System
  • A current paid Working With Children Check
  • Identify and Respond to Children at Risk Certificate is desireable
