Inclusion Officer and Administration Assistant

  • 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday @ 7.6 hours per day

We are a not for profit, community owned, non-government organisation which provides high quality care and education for children, national and statewide inclusion services as part of a National Consortia and operate many community-based services to children and families. These include post-natal depression groups, transition to school and supported playgroups.

What you’ll do

The Inclusion Officer and Administration Assistant will respond to 1800 telephone calls made by educators in federally funded children’s services to increase their capacity and capability to embed inclusive practices within their service. You will ensure calls are triaged appropriately and program information is provided to ECCC services in a responsive manner irrespective of the location of the ECCC service and the availability of their allocated Inclusion Professional.

Providing efficient and effective high level office administration support, information co-ordination and program management support to the Inclusion Hub team.

What you’ll need:

  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Tertiary qualifications in education (early/middle childhood)
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-level administrative support role
  • Experience in the ECCC sector will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated understanding of inclusion and be capable of supporting educators with their immediate inclusion needs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with using standard computer software, such as Microsoft Office
