We are a not for profit, community owned, non government organisation which provides high quality care and education for children, national and state wide inclusion services as part of a National Consortia and operate many community based services to children and families. These include post natal depression groups, transition to school and supported playgroups.

What you’ll do

The Program Officer – Transition to Day Care is responsible for facilitating improved outcomes for children transitioning from no care to Early Childhood Learning Services.

The role will guide a cooperative effort which schools, early childhood services, government agencies, community groups and families work together to achieve successful readiness and transitioning to school for children.

What you’ll need:

  • Cleared Valid for paid work, working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
  • Formal qualification in Early Childhood or Primary Education
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualification
  • Strong knowledge and confidence in working with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, including vulnerable children and young persons
  • Proven previous experience with and confidence in liaising with other Education and Care organisations and other external stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to different work settings
  • Experience and knowledge of the Data Exchange Program (desirable)
